Human Resources Manager
Location: Delta, BC
Salary: $68,000 – $72,000
On-site | Full-time | Permanent
Our growing Delta client in the transportation and logistics industry is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join the team and support the continued growth of the organization.
With a strong focus on asset-based operations, the company prioritizes reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company objectives
• Oversee recruitment, hiring, and employee onboarding
• Manage employee relations and ensure compliance with Canadian employment laws
• Coordinate training and employee development programs
• Maintain HRIS systems and ensure data accuracy
• Support payroll processing and benefits administration
• Promote a positive workplace culture focused on safety and excellence
Qualifications
• Proven HR management experience of minimum 5 years and ideally within transportation, logistics or manufacturing industries
• Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, Dayforce, or UltiPro
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead change initiatives
• Knowledge of Canadian employment laws and regulations and CPHR Designation is an asset
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
