Job Description

Candidates must be able and willing to work at all three of our administrative offices within Metro Vancouver (Head Office located in Burnaby and Distribution Centers located in Richmond and Delta).
Our Float Pool Administrative Assistant positions are considered if and as when required, which means that hours of work are not guaranteed and will be subject to operational needs. However, at this time and for the foreseeable future, we are looking for individuals who are available to work full-time Monday to Friday (35 hours a week) on an ongoing and long term basis.
The majority of these auxiliaries go on to join our organization on a permanent basis in challenging and exciting opportunities.

- Secondary school graduation or equivalent (GED). Preference may be given to candidates who have related post-secondary education or training.
- Minimum of one year recent experience in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment providing administrative, financial and operational support in an office environment.
- Experience in keyboarding, word processing, preparing spread-sheets and databases, and other standard computer applications (i.e. MS Outlook and MS Office).
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and attention to detail is required.
A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Earn $26.6826 to $30.0611 hourly with additional 6%, in lieu of vacation leave and, in lieu of health and welfare benefits, a compensation of $0.91 per working hour, up to a maximum of $63.70 per biweekly pay period.
