We are looking for Casual/Relief residential care worker on a permanent basis. Once hired as a casual, you may apply for permanent part time or full time positions as long as you meet the qualifications.
(All full time and part time RCW positions require you have a class 4 drivers license and access to a vehicle for work with business class insurance. Some positions may requre the class 4 to be unrestricted)

Schedule: On call

Hours Worked: Flex hours per week

Location: Vancouver-Richmond

Starting Date: Immediately

Salary Range: $19.31 + 9.8% in lieu of benefits

Union Status: Yes

The nature of this position is to support people with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.


  • Degree or Diploma in area directly related to supporting people with developmental disabilities such as Social Sciences, Human Services, or Education.
  • First Aid, CPR
  • Class 4 unrestricted driver’s license with clean drivers abstract, use of vehicle for work with business class insurance.
  • 1 – 2 years of experience working with developmentally disabled people.
  • Experience in special needs assessment, evaluation, design, and signing skills.


Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrated competency in written and verbal communication
  • Must be able to perform lifts & transfers of 40lbs.
