Accounts Payable Clerk

Coquitlam, BC | Full-Time | Approximately $25 per hour

Burke Recruiting is searching for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk on a permanent basis for a growing, multi-location organization in Coquitlam.

The successful candidate will support a busy finance team with high-volume invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, invoice research and AP inquiries. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AP professional who can quickly learn new systems and contribute after a brief training period.

Key Responsibilities

Process and code high volumes of accounts payable invoices
Complete vendor account reconciliations
Research invoice and payment discrepancies
Respond to vendor inquiries by telephone and email
Follow up on missing invoices and supporting documentation
Assist with Excel-based reconciliations
Maintain accurate AP records
Support the finance team with additional accounting duties as required

Qualifications

Previous accounts payable experience
Strong understanding of invoice coding and vendor reconciliations
Experience working in a busy, high-volume environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to learn new systems quickly
Professional communication skills
Able to work independently after initial training
