Job Description

Patron Career Staffing is hiring for Industrial Millwrights in Richmond, BC. Below is the detailed job description for the same.

Responsibilities-
Perform all planned maintenance (Preventive & Predictive) assigned promptly and use a Computerized Maintenance Management System to log in all planned, reactive, and emergency activities.
Repair and capture detailed root causes and countermeasures of breakdowns and communicate effectively to management and peers.
Ensures effective and timely on-floor support to the maintenance department members, including regular, off-shift, and weekend coverage as required.
Assist in the ongoing improvement of the work order system.
Works with the maintenance and engineering team to implement permanent solutions for equipment and process problems.
Must be familiar with the use of measuring tools and safe operation of hand tools including grinders, drills, mechanical saws, sanders, and buffers.
Support the effort to develop and document maintenance procedures, point lessons and implement a competency-based training program.
Works as a team member on small and large technical projects.
Experience with the overall pasteurization process is considered an asset.
Assist and repair valves and pumps.
Performs additional work as required.
Experience:

Licensed millwright (e.g., 433A), Technician or Technologist Degree or Diploma related to maintenance/engineering, with a preference for electrical, mechanical, and robotics specialization.
Ability to work with CMMS; conduct and complete planned maintenance tasks, able to complete work orders, and able to generate work orders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and high-intensity environment.
Strong communication, learning, and teaching skills.
Strong team player.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical periodicals, procedures, engineering drawings, and government regulations.
Strong Microsoft Office skills including the ability to gather and document data and working knowledge of MS Office suite of programs.
Highly motivated and capable of conducting root cause analysis to identify permanent countermeasures.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $42.00- $45.00 per hour

Schedule: Friday to Sunday(6:30 am to 6:30 pm)
