What & Why:
As a result of investment in technology, our client is looking to add a QA Engineer to their team to help drive AI in their automated testing.  You will work closely with the development team to integrate AI-driven testing methodologies into the software development lifecycle. This is not your conventional QA role; it requires a deep understanding of modern QA methodologies, automation tools, and a keen interest in AI-augmented processes. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the AI-driven QA framework, ensuring that the software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.  This is a great time to join this organization as edge computing becomes increasingly utilized.

Who:
You will be working with a close-knit team who is passionate about technology and very forward thinking. The team is developing edge computing tech which is used extensively in the IoT industry. They have a great office space close to all rapid transit in Gastown and work in a hybrid environment.

You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

• Proven experience in QA engineering, with a strong background in test automation.
• Proficient with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete, Jenkins) and scripting languages (e.g., Node, Python, JavaScript).
• Extensive experience with JIRA as a project management and bug tracking tools.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies, particularly in AI and machine learning applications in QA
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
