About
Founded in 1988, Urban Native Youth Association (UNYA) is a prevention-focused organization delivering 20+ culturally-responsive programs for urban Indigenous youth in Metro Vancouver, working with more than 300 community partners.
We’re supporting Indigenous youth to reach their fullest potential by providing a wide range of services, resources, and opportunities. Our youth-led approach means that Indigenous youth have an active voice at all levels of the organization: as participants, peer leaders, employees, and board members.
We’re helping young people explore their own personal goals for education, work, culture, and life, in a fun, safe, and healthy environment.
