Redbrick

About

Redbrick is the parent organization of a portfolio of disruptive digital companies. Headquartered in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, we’ve scaled from local start-up to global name in a few short years, conceptualizing new business ideas, acquiring established businesses, and growing them to super-scaled profitability—all thanks to the people we hire.

4 portfolio companies and growing
1 amazing shared service team
100+ employees

One of our 4 portfolio companies, Rebase dreams, designs and builds apps for desktop and mobile, leveraging sophisticated analytics and performance marketing to reach hundreds of thousands of users monthly. We customize Chromium’s open-source browser to create bespoke desktop and mobile browsers that reimagine internet experiences. Our Rebase team is 7 people strong and works closely with Redbrick’s shared People Operations, Finance, and Creative/Marketing teams.

"[Redbrick is] the 4 Fs: fun, fulfilling, fast-paced and flexible!"
            —Tina, Rebase

We think of the office as a second home and believe you should enjoy what you work on—and who you work with. We cheerlead your goals and accomplishments and feel invested in your future. Flexible work hours, health, and wellness funding (so you can get your gym membership or race registration paid for, no excuses) are just a few of the perks of working at Redbrick. Plus, with regular team events, from ping-pong tournaments to regular Friday post-work gatherings, work feels a little more like family.

The Redbrick Advantage
WE'VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES
We all know it takes more than an idea to build a successful company. It takes leadership, a mix of resources (and resourcefulness), investment capital and, most importantly, people. We have all four in spades, which means a serious competitive advantage in acquiring, scaling and supporting companies.

Expertise
Between our leadership and pool of creative and technical talent, we bring the necessary experience and expertise to the table to inform every decision we make.

Resources
From a state-of-the-art space to in-house HR and finance professionals, we have the resources at our fingertips to operate our companies efficiently and effectively.

Capital
Of course, you can’t start up businesses without investment capital. Our ventures are debt-backed and operationally superpowered for hyper-profitability.

Creative
From branding to user experience design and prototyping, we’ve got the creatives in-house to take our companies from ideation to launch, iteration and scale.
