The newly created Office of the Human Rights Commissioner for B.C. is an independent office of the provincial legislature. Our focus is promoting and protecting human rights through education, research, policy development and public investigations into issues of systemic discrimination in the province.

Our aim is to uphold the dignity of people in British Columbia by proactively addressing the root causes of discrimination and inequality.
