The Information Technology branch is seeking an innovative, collaborative, and strategic senior leader for the regular full-time position of Director, Information Technology.

 Reporting to the Deputy Clerk and Clerk of Committees, the Director, Information Technology supports the Assembly’s long-term strategic objectives and its digital strategy through Information Technology programs and initiatives. The Director leads and manages the design and development of technical architecture, applications, IT governance, standards and quality assurance processes that support the efficient and effective operation of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and their constituency offices.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business with 10+ years of progressive technology experience or equivalent, a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior leadership capacity directing employees and managing a budget, and experience working in a complex Information Technology environment.

Other qualifications include ITIL Expert, COBIT 5, CGEIT or CRISC and leadership experience in more than one software development methodology.
