As the Woodlands Accountant, you are a key finance representative on the Chetwynd Fibre Division team. Supported by Canfor's finance group, this role provides relevant, accurate, timely information and analysis for the management team, and participates in the continuous improvement of the business. You will utilize the skills you have acquired in your current or previous financial management role(s) to facilitate the quarterly forecasting process for the division.
You have outstanding integrity and are a quality leader; these skills will assist you as you complete the timely and accurate completion of the monthly financial close and become the key point of contact for the operations for all financial matters.

Ideally, you come armed with your CPA/CA designation, experience with standardization and continuous improvement, and past experience in financial management specifically in a manufacturing or operational setting. For bonus points, you have operational performance management and or business process improvement (Six Sigma, Lean).

This position will report to the Fort St. John Woodlands Accountant and can be based out of either Canfor's Chetwynd office or Canfor's Fort St. John office.
