Serving several industries including electrical, mechanical, mobile, marine and data, our combination of experience and equipment provides you and our customers a wide range of solutions and capacities for specialized enclosures.
We are a small high horsepower team and are looking for an experienced and motivated welder / fabricator, preferably with a CWB Certification in All Position - GMAW / FCAW / MCAW, to join our team.
The Position of Welder Includes, but is Not Limited to:
- Responsibilities will include the use of various hand tools, the fabrication of custom enclosures and their components from supplied drawings to meet company and customer expectations in a high paced production environment.
- Welding of structural and non-structural product that includes steel bases and tanks, enclosure shells i.e.. roof & wall structures, and using various weld positions for mounting of equipment
- Various mechanical, fabrication and installation tasks
- Insulating, vapour barrier, and wall liner installation
Essentials Functions for This Roll:
- Welding according to pre-set parameters using GMAW / FCAW / MCAW welding procedures
- Read and follow drawings to set-up, tack and weld
- Work with supervisors and foreman to ensure quality and continuous improvements
- Excellent work ethic with the attitude to learn and hone skills
- Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area
Experience, Qualifications and Skills (preferably) Required:
- Holds a current CWB All Posi on GMAW / FCAW / MCAW Classification S or FW Ticket
- 2 to 3 + years of steel welding experience
- Thorough knowledge of welding practises and techniques
- Able to read drawings, weld symbols and follow instructions
- Valid BC driver’s license
- Proof of education and certifications
- PPE and basic toolbox
This is a fulltime position
Salary of $30.00-$35.00 per hour to start, PLUS MORE based on experience and assessment during the interview stage.
Hours are 4 days a week from Monday to Thursday from 6:00am to 4:30pm with opportunity on Fridays for OT.

- Applicants chosen will need to perform a welding skills test on the shop floor that will consist of setting up welders, including changing wire, verifying gas flow rates etc.. and successfully creating 2 - 3 welding sample coupons using a multiple of welding positions and techniques.
