Our company designs and manufactures the world’s most secure weather tight marine closures, or engineering astonishing support structure for bridges.

We are currently looking for an experienced and energetic Welder 1 to join our Windows/Doors Department.

The position of Welder 1 includes but is not limited to production welding of standard and custom product. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • The use of various hand tools, the fabrication of custom products from supplied drawings, fabrication of custom jigs and fixtures to produce production parts that meet customer specifications
  • Fabrication of metal structures using jigs and fixtures in a high paced production environment.

Essential functions for this role are:

  • TIG welding of aluminum, stainless steel and steel.
  • Cutting and prepping material for welding.
  • Maintain safe work practices.
  • Monitor parts usage and report on any material issues.
  • Read and interpret drawings or welding process specifications.
  • Develop goals and priorities; assign tasks and projects.
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects.
  • Keep detailed and accurate reports and documentation per the Quality Management System.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance and techniques.
  • Other assigned work as required. 

Required qualifications and skills:

  • 1 - 2 years of experience TIG welding experience
  • High school diploma
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
  • You are interested in this role but also aspire to grow. 

This is a fulltime position

Salary is open depending on experience
