About our Client

Our client, a cleaning products supplier, is looking for a Warehouse Lead to join their team on a permanent basis. The shift starts at 7 - 7:30am running for an 8-hour shift. In this role, you will be responsible overseeing and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of warehouse and delivery operations. Responsibilities:

• Able to work in high intensity with physical activities for four to six hours a day
• Plan, oversee and participate in the warehouse operations and activities
• Assist in training, coaching, motivation and performance management of warehouse staff and drivers
• Responsible for ensuring driver paperwork is current and conforming to all regulations.
• Responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of warehouse
• Responsible to ensure all warehouse equipment (including but not limited to forklift, pump truck, etc.) is maintained and in good working order and maintenance files maintained
• Responsible to ensure health & safety requirements are complied with in the warehouse
• Determines the training and education needs of employees
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous “hands on” supervisory experience within a computerized warehouse including performance management
• Forklift (Reach Truck) Certification and Experience considered an asset
• Minimum High School Diploma
• Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract is an asset
• Certification in Part 1 & II Health & Safety and First Aid an asset
