Salary: $145K - $165K
Job Type: Full-Time, 14-month contract, Hybrid

Overview

This senior finance role provides strategic leadership across all financial operations during a defined interim period at a well-respected not-for-profit. The position ensures strong financial stewardship, reliable reporting, effective controls, and a high‑performing team environment. Working closely with executive leadership, the role strengthens organizational capability, enhances processes, and supports long‑term operational resilience.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leading financial strategy - guiding budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and decision‑support activities for the executive team.
Strengthening financial operations - optimizing processes, controls, and systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
Developing team capability - coaching and supporting a finance team to deliver high‑quality, timely financial insights.
Enhancing compliance frameworks - reviewing and improving compliance practices across regulatory, reporting, and internal control areas.
Advising senior leadership - serving as a trusted partner on financial, risk, and organizational matters.

Qualifications

CPA with extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles.
Progressive financial management experience, including oversight of budgeting, reporting, and internal controls within a not-for-profit enviorment.
Regulatory and compliance knowledge relevant to complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
Team leadership experience with a track record of developing high‑performing finance functions.
ERP systems expertise, including process automation and system optimization initiatives.
