Building strategic partnerships have been central to our rapid growth since inception. We are hiring a VP Partners & Ecosystem to lead a team influencing the future of our business, our customers, and the Marketing Cloud industry.
As Allocadia’s VP Partners & Ecosystem you will combine the ability to see the big-picture market dynamics, the drive to take new partnerships from idea to significant revenue and customer value. In addition to leading a small team, this leadership role requires cross-functional collaboration across the company including with Sales, Marketing, Customer Delivery, Product and Finance. This role will be a major change agent, having impact and influence with a high degree of autonomy, energy, flexibility and drive to create real business results.
This role can reside locally in Vancouver, BC or remotely across Canada or the US
•Manage executive-level relationships at global technology vendors and represent Allocadia in business negotiations
•Build an understanding of our market and set a partner strategy that enables Allocadia to deliver our vision
•Work closely with the Allocadia sales organization in brokering account mapping and field-level relationships
•Coach and motivate direct reports and hire new partner managers to build a high-performance team
•Source new technology and professional services partnerships that deliver value to our customers and build our competitive position
•Work cross-functionally with Business Operations, Enablement, Legal, Marketing, Product Marketing, Services, Sales, Marketing, Finance and other internal organizations across Allocadia on a regular basis
•Establish and execute joint Go-To-Market initiatives with partners that drive significant revenue
•Define and communicate Allocadia’s value proposition as it relates to partners
•Forecast partner revenue accurately
•Participate in setting of objectives for the partner business and team members. Lead execution to accomplish those objectives
•Minimum 8 years experience in Business Development, with a minimum of 3 years in driving Partner GTM relationships
•Proven ability to take a new partnership from inception to >$1m in 12 months
•Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with an ability to speak effectively to business development leaders, executives and marketers
•Ideally you know the marketing technology landscape, the cloud business model and have worked with some of the largest technology vendors on the planet
•Experience of reseller, VAR, consulting services delivery partners, ideally in a cloud software ecosystem
•Highly organized and detail oriented
•Can handle multiple projects and priorities in an extremely fast paced environment
•Comfortable in a fast-paced start-up environment
•Experience contributing as part of a leadership team
•A high degree of honesty, integrity and sound judgment
•Willing and able to travel within North America & Internationally
