The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for the day to day cash management activities, administration of the foreign exchange risk management function, and supporting the departmental accounting activities of the Vancouver location. The successful candidate should possess excellent accounting and analytical skills and be detailed and task oriented. Excellent communication skills will also be required due to the high level of interactions with various stakeholders throughout the company.

This is a one year contract position.

Primary Activities
  • Coordinate the day to day activities with cash management banks and syndicate lenders for cash and debt financing requirements
  • Responsible for bank administration activities and ensuring appropriate documentation in place and up to date
  • Manage the exposure analysis of foreign currency denominated project cash flows
  • Support the day to day management of the foreign exchange hedging process including completion of project cash flows and daily blotter packages as required
  • Assistance with the development of foreign currency exchange risk management policies
  • Prepare and manage the completion of departmental journal entries and financial reports to ensure monthly and quarterly financial reporting deadlines are met
  • Responsible for testing and remediation of CSOX controls to ensure that the department is CSOX compliant
  • Support the completion of the quarterly financial statements including disclosures
  • Responsible for the administration of the LC process
  • Ability to recommend and drive performance improvements
  • Support ad hoc analysis as may be assigned

Candidate Profile

  • Accounting designation complete (CPA)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Experience to work with accounting systems and specific experience with Sage 300 an asset
  • Relevant Treasury experience would be desirable
