Transportation SupervisorPermanent/Full-time
Under the general direction of the Manager of Transportation, the Transportation Supervisor will plan, coordinate, and supervise transportation activities to achieve the highest level of quality, safety, and effectiveness. This role requires an in-depth understanding of rules and regulations related to student transportation and assumes responsibility for meeting all legislated and other requirements.

And have the required education and experience noted below:
- Certified as a school bus driver trainer
- Minimum of five (5) years’ recent and related experience demonstrating knowledge in K-12 student transportation
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the supervision of staff; preferably in a unionized setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (outlook, word and excel) and familiarity with host and internet-based computer applications
- Valid BC, class 2 drivers’ licence with air endorsement and a driving record acceptable to the district for insurance purposes
- Thorough knowledge of WorkSafe BC regulations, BC Motor Vehicle Act, National Safety Code and CSA D-250 Standards

The salary range for this full-time position is $86,541 to $108,176 per annum.
Initial placement within the range is based on related education and experience.
