  • Summary:
    The Training Coordinator will be responsible for preparing, facilitating, monitoring, evaluating, and documenting training activities for the company.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assess training needs for service and parts employees
    • Identify internal and external training programs to address competency gaps
    • Design and develop training and development programs based on both the organization's and the individual's needs
    • Liaise with subject matter experts regarding instructional design
    • Develop training aids such as manuals and handbooks
    • Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers
    • Manage and monitor the apprenticeship program to ensure employees are progressing through the program in a timely manner
    • Map out training plans for individual employees and share with supervisors
    • Present training programs using recognized training techniques and tools
    • Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, on-the-job coaching
    • Track and report on training outcomes with OEM brands - Kenworth, Case, Linkbelt, Tigercat
    • Build relationships with OEM training providers and coordinate group training at dedicated branches
    • Provide feedback to program participants and management
    • Evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology
    • Maintain employee training records and provide updates to supervisors
    • Handle logistics for training activities, including venues and equipment
    • Establish and maintain relationships with external training suppliers
    • Coordinate off-site training activities for employees
    • Manage training budget
  • Requirements:
    • A Bachelor's Degree in a field such as Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
    • 2 to 5 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Knowledge of adult instructional and learning theory and principles
    • Knowledge of instructional design, training methodologies, learning management systems, and competency assessment
    • Proven ability to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organization
    • Strong organizational skills, ability to track and monitor training progress, prepare and present reports as needed
    • Some experience presenting and facilitating training events
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
    • High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability
    • Valid Passport required
    • Valid Driver's Licence required
