AEL, a division of Emcon Services Inc. is a proud Canadian based company with over 20 years of success in providing Traffic Management services throughout British Columbia. We currently have an opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to join our team in the Merritt, Spences Bridge and Lytton areas. If you:

ü Looking for an introduction into the Traffic Management industry

ü Have a positive Driver’s Abstract

ü You hold valid certification, or a wish to obtain it

ü Enjoy working outdoors

We have current openings for both permanent and seasonal positions, with hours and schedules being specific to the work activities being performed. This position is a unionized position and is eligible for health & dental benefits and RSP as per terms outlined in the Collective Agreement. Experience is an asset, however the company has an ongoing training program that supports growth and development.

The successful candidates must have/be:

Minimum Class 5 license in positive standing;
Current BC Traffic Control Certificate
Current Driver’s Abstract obtainable online or at any ICBC Licensing Branch Office
Helpful, friendly and courteous with the public, regulatory agencies and peers;
Punctual and willing to work on-call
Physically able to meet all requirements, staff co-operation and working in a safe and environmentally friendly manner at all times.
