ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

This role reports to Program Progressions and Events Coordinator.

SUMMARY

The Trades Camp Leader will assist the Program Progressions and Events Coordinator in the planning and delivery of KPU's Trades Summer Camps. This role involves working closely with Continuing and Professional Studies (CPS) instructors to support classroom management and ensure a positive, engaging experience for all camp participants.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Works under supervision and guidance of the Program Progressions and Events Coordinator
  • Assists with planning, setup, coordination and operational logistics of Trades Summer Camp
  • Works closely with assigned CPS instructor to help manage activities throughout the day.
  • Serves as a point of contact throughout the day for the camp attendees.
  • Supports the day-to-day execution of summer camps, ensuring smooth operations, adherence to safety protocols, and a positive, inclusive environment for all participants.
  • Documents the camp with photography and/or film (using video).

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience working with younger kids/kids camps
  • Creative, energetic and outgoing
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with others
  • Reliable, organized and detail oriented
  • Problem solver, works independently and manages time effectively to meet deadlines


*Salary Information

Anticipated Hourly Rate: $20
