Avigilon’s solutions have been installed at thousands of customer sites, including school campuses, transportation systems, healthcare centers, public venues, critical infrastructure, prisons, factories, casinos, airports, financial institutions, government facilities, and retailers.

Responsibilities include:



As part of our software engineering team, you will participate in the creation of the next generation of Avigilon's market-leading ACC video surveillance server products. These products are responsible for the storage, rendering and access of video, audio, and analytic data. They include high throughput networking, video analysis, video processing, video rendering, and data storage subsystems. The successful candidate will be:
  • A member of a scrum team responsible for creating test automation to test the encoding and transcoding features of our video surveillance product line
  • Overseeing the design, creation, maintenance, and delivery of tests and test frameworks

Qualifications:
  • A degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline with 5+ years of industry experience
  • A demonstrated ability to work in small teams responsible for feature delivery, feature test, and code maintenance
  • Demonstrated C# design and programming ability
  • Demonstrated experience in writing and scripting test cases
  • Knowledge of IP networking applications and concepts
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills and experience:
  • Knowledge of digital video or audio encoding, standards, and concepts
  • Exposure to Agile software development practices
  • Experience with one or more test frameworks
  • 5+ years of experience in a software testing role
