Temporary Event Host - #3759-Ktemp


Our client, a renowned real estate developer, is looking for Event Hosts to join their busy team for 3 months starting asap. This client offers a fun, challenging work environment with great supportive company culture.


The Role:

As the Event Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, ensure the exhibition space is maintained to the highest of standards, and act as an ambassador for the brand.

Where is it located?

Vancouver, BC (easily transit accessible)



  • Greeting all guests in a friendly, confident and warm manner
  • Providing knowledge and background on all event content
  • Interacting and engaging in dialogue around the exhibition pieces
  • Assisting with audio/visual/interactive components of the exhibition
  • Overseeing the safety and operation of exhibition pieces and guests alike; communicating with security and management as needed
  • Managing capacity of exhibition/registering guests
  • Assisting with exhibition operation during exhibition hours and special events
  • Ensuring a high level of professionalism and presentability is maintained at all times
  • Daily cleaning and maintenance of exhibition space as needed
  • Assisting with all other facets of the event operations as required


Must Haves:

  • Post-Secondary education in an applicable field (real estate development, marketing, sales, business administration, finance)
  • Previous experience in administration or customer service
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays
  • Personable with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • High degree of professionalism
  • The ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Real Estate knowledge is an asset but not required
  • A second language (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
