The Role:

Our client is a well-renowned healthcare organization and a leader in their field.  They are looking for a polished and professional individual, who is extremely flexible and detail orientated with superior communication skills and strong problem solving ability.

To succeed in this role you should have superior administrative and organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, a proven ability to multitask, manage multiple deadlines and managing changing priorities, strong interpersonal and team work skills, intermediate use of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.


Where is it based?

Vancouver, BC



  • Providing administrative support, including drafting agendas, taking minutes, scheduling meetings and appointments, editing and formatting documents and memos, preparing reports, records, statistics and statements, and compiling and organizing confidential information
  • Processing a variety of financial transactions, including preparation and submission of receipts, expenses, invoices, bills and purchase orders
  • Planning events such as conferences, focus groups, general meetings, and travel – confirming attendees, booking meeting rooms, flights, hotel reservations, refreshments, etc
  • Working closely with the Executive Assistant to coordinate board meetings and prepare meeting materials in a timely manner
  • Ordering stationery supplies and services as needed


Must haves:

  • 4 years of related administrative experience
  • High school diploma and business college certificate or equivalent
  • Advanced skills in standard office software applications, in particular, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio)
  • Be able to type at least 60 wpm
  • Demonstrate ability to organize and prioritize own work with minimal supervision
  • Maintain utmost confidentiality and discretion of information received while performing regular work functions.
