We're hiring a Technical Writer for our Client in Surrey, BC!
• Develop enhancements to the existing in-house documentation infrastructure. • Recommend and implement improvements to document generation processes. • Resolve text conversion and display issues. • Create clear and accurate technical documentation, both for hardcopy and online distribution. Topics will be related to quantitative finance, APIs/SDKs, and system administration. Documentation may include sample code and Excel workbooks, in addition to online manuals and help. • Ensure project schedule milestones and quality standards are met. Skills:
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, English, Communications, or related field. • Experience with Web development, markup languages, and static site generators. • Experience in software programming, preferably in Python. • Familiarity with REST APIs. • Strong interest in mathematics and finance, with an eagerness to learn more. • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written. • Strong collaborative skills. • Experience working in a software development environment preferred.
