What's the job?
Responsible for developing sourcing strategies to hire amazingly talented individuals. Coast is looking for a results oriented, and collaborative Talent Acquisition Specialist to help find and hire the right people at the right time, to support our growth today and beyond. As a natural problem solver, you wear a 'talent first' lens striving to elevate the hiring process ensuring a positive candidate & leader experience.

What you'll get to do?
  • Full cycle recruitment with a focus on delivering a diverse slate of talent.
  • Provide a stellar experience for each and every candidate you engage with.
  • Develops a recruitment plan and creates a customized sourcing strategy, in consultation with the hiring leaders within a designated business portfolio.
  • Build partnerships with hiring leaders to identify key talent needs and develop creative strategies to attract and assess that talent.
  • Ensure the recruitment process is compliant aligning to our hiring process.
  • Build a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management, seeking opportunities to raise the bar for recruitment.
  • Leverage your 'social' recruiting skills and passion for sharing Coast's story to candidates.
  • Develops a strong pool of qualified candidates by posting on various job boards/networking sites, advertising campaigns, database mining, networking, career fairs, social media and other sources.
  • Focuses on providing innovative ideas and solutions in support of continuously improving the process and candidate experience.

  • What we are looking for?
  • Minimum 5+ years of in house job related experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with multiple levels of the organization.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate into a talent strategy to source and identify the ideal candidate.
  • In-depth knowledge of the recruitment process, recruitment metrics and selection principles and practices.
  • Experience with an applicant tracking systems and online sourcing, including Boolean search parameters Knowledge of, and experience in, a broad range of HR functions would be an asset
  • Able to multi-task and manage changing priorities.
  • Flexibility and able to laugh is a must.
