Your New Career

Scout Talent is working with one of Canada's largest mining organizations for a Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) partnership!

As part of this RPO contract, we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team. Operating on a hybrid work model, headquartered in downtown Vancouver, BC.

Talent Acquisition Partners will liaise directly with stakeholders to plan, attract, and select talent (both internal and external) within a designated client portfolio to deliver their business strategy, working across our client's end-to-end recruitment process.

Some of your key accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Participating on end-to-end recruitment tasks, including job briefs, candidate screening, interviewing, managing offers, pre-employment tasks, onboarding etc.
  • Leading sourcing and recruitment for roles at all levels of the organization
  • Coaching Hiring Managers on attraction, sourcing, and selection activities and decisions
  • Ensuring the recruitment process actively supports our client's approach to DE&I
  • Facilitating quality candidate management by ensuring candidate communications are conducted in a timely manner
  • Actively championing and supporting internal candidate experience and mobility
  • Developing an understanding of business-critical roles and impact on delivering strategic priorities
  • Partnering with other members of the Talent Attraction/Sourcing team and relevant stakeholders to support market mapping activities, and actively participating in talent pooling
  • Proactively identifying and implementing tools and strategies to develop innovative approaches to our recruitment process
About You

To qualify, you'll join us with a minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment and talent engagement, including experience performing behavioural interviews and managing candidates throughout the recruitment process. As a relationship-builder, you will join us with the confidence and ability to nurture client and candidate partnerships, including liaising with individuals at all levels, inside and outside the organization. You are a great communicator and can work independently with minor supervision, while also being able to collaborate with the rest of the team and other stakeholders.

The Benefits

As a valued member of the team, you’ll be rewarded with an attractive compensation package of $70-80K, based on skills and experience (inclusive of performance-based incentives). Additionally, you’ll also enjoy:
