Our client is a telecommunications service provider, that deals with both residential customers, as well as clients on a small business and enterprise level.

They have been around for over three decades, have already made their mark on the industry, but are looking to take things to the next level!

They have grandiose plans for the near future, and are currently looking at bringing on a T1 Technical Support.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with customers via phone and email
  • Respond to inquiries regarding new or existing services (billing, sales, customer service, etc)
  • Identify and escalate priority issues and de-escalate upset customers
  • Document all ordering information so it is billed correctly, before handing to the customer service team
  • Process orders, forms and applications for connectivity, VOIP, and other services
  • Follow-up customer calls where necessary and keeping them updated with their order through all stages from confirmation to installation

Skills, Experience And Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate must have high technical aptitude, be detail oriented, and provide a high level of accuracy in all communications.
  • You have a problem-solving mindset, you are adaptable to new situations, and you can think outside the box.
  • A minimum of one year of call center experience
  • Experience with ISP’s, phones, and connectivity would be an asset
