Paladin Security is seeking for qualified System Support Specialist. The successful candidate will provide operational and technical support to end users as well as deliver projects using their broad knowledge of IT. In this role, you will provide tech support to end users in various locations. You will maintain, monitor, and support current and new server/desktop deployment and perform periodic system audits to assure compliance and availability. You will maintain and manage backups, support users at multiple remote locations utilizing remote access tools and take a lead role on ongoing projects. You will work with various vendors that provide specialist service that maintain corporate VPN, WAN and phone system.
Job Skills / Requirements
Provide hardware, software and connectivity support to end-user desktop/laptop/tablet equipment, according to set IT standards Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot PC system hardware and software Create, modify, and delete Active Directory/Exchange user account. Provide assistance to other department that may require travelling to customer site. Maintain asset inventory May require flex hours to meet the requirement of other Paladin branches. Keep up-to-date and acquire new skills with emphasis on technologies that add value to areas of direct responsibility.
2+ years practical experience in a Technical Help Desk or Similar computer operational team environment Diploma or equivalent work experience in a related field or industry Current MCSA, A+ and Network+ certification a plus Must have strong oral, interpersonal and customer service skills Demonstrated analytical problem solving skills necessary to deal with and resolve technical problems Experience working with any of the following: Windows XP/7/8, Windows Server 2008 R2/2012 Active Directory Blackberry Enterprise Server Accpac Microsoft IIS (ASP) Microsoft SQL 2008 R2+ VMware 5.x Windows Server Backup
