What You Will Be a Part of

As a System Software Architect at Energex, you will be an integral part of our product development team. You will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading our internal systems and platform, introducing new functions, and ensuring the platform remains highly available and secure. You will work closely with the product management and engineering teams to develop and deliver high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.

Hourly Wage: $53.50

Weekly Hours: 30 to 40 hrs

What You Will Do

-Develop and maintain our Energex Energy Management Platform, ensuring it meets our customers' needs and industry standards

-Introduce new functions to the platform, such as analytics, forecasting, and optimization algorithms on top of our existing system

-Collaborate with the product management and engineering teams to define the product road-map and deliver new features and enhancements

-Optimize the platform's performance, scalability, and security

-Conduct regular testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure the platform remains highly available and reliable

-Stay up-to-date with the latest web-based technologies and trends to identify opportunities to improve the platform's capabilities and user experience

Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field

-2 to 3 years of cloud/software development experience is required

-Experience with designing and building customer service systems, from architecture to API integration is a plus

-Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL, or another equivalent development languages and framework

-Solid management skills and proven track record in leading software development in a medium size team

-Experience working with Agile methodologies is a plus
