Hard Rock Casino Vancouver is currently recruiting for a Surveillance Supervisor. If you have a passion for the Gaming Industry and Surveillance operations and love working in a fast paced dynamic environment, then a position as a Surveillance Supervisor at Hard Rock Casino Vancouver could be your next career move! You will be responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities of Surveillance at the site level as well as monitoring interior and exterior areas of a property by closed circuit television cameras.

    •Monitoring Surveillance Operators; verifying timesheets; providing input for performance evaluations •Monitoring, documenting and reporting violations regarding large cash/cash equivalent transactions, excluded and self-excluded guests and unauthorized access •Maintaining logs; preparing daily reports; storing records securely for evidence purposes •Monitoring, documenting and reporting on the condition of surveillance facilities and equipment; performing preventative maintenance on equipment as required •Training new colleagues •Communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments •Building strong working relationships with guests and team members •Complying with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations •Performing other duties as required


    •High School Diploma •Post-secondary education in criminology or a suitable combination of education and experience an asset •Ability to exceed internal and external guest expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication •Minimum 2 years of surveillance or security experience; •Thorough knowledge of BCLC and Company policies and procedures •Thorough knowledge of BCLC Anti-Money Laundering (AML) •Proficient computer skills •Proficiency with iTrak •Background experience in Criminology an asset •Ability to work in a team environment •The ability to successfully pass a criminal record and credit check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB) •A commitment to continually increase your knowledge of our products and services in order to offer exceptional experiences to our guests
