Hard Rock Casino Vancouver is now on the lookout for a professional and diligent superstar to become our next Surveillance Operator. As the eyes of the casino, this VIP team member will be responsible for the monitoring of all areas of the casino property and maintaining the appropriate documentation. This individual will ensure the safety of our guests, team members and company assets by maintaining continuous surveillance of gaming areas and the entire property. The chosen member must be passionate and exude respect, as they will be collaborating with a rockin' team and will be required to write and generate reports in an accurate manner.
Duties and responsibilities include:
•Answering internal and external telephone calls •Informing or re-directing calls accordingly •Monitoring, documenting and reporting violations regarding large cash/cash equivalent transactions, excluded and self-excluded guests and unauthorized access •Maintaining logs; preparing daily reports; storing records securely for evidence purposes •Monitoring, documenting and reporting on the condition of surveillance facilities and equipment •Performing preventative maintenance on equipment as required •Communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments •Building strong working relationships with guests and team members •Complying with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations •Performing other duties as required
Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications:
•Legendary guest service skills with a "Make it Happen" attitude •Understanding of yourself and others when communicating with team members and guests •A passion for providing Rockin' It Service to our internal guests in the quest of achieving service excellence •Live HRCV's Values all day, every day: Respect, Original, Caring, Kickin' Service, Integrity and No Excuses •Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to focus on monitors for long periods of time •Possess a high level of honesty and integrity; adherence to high standards, methods and procedures •Computer proficiency •Gaming knowledge & surveillance experience as well as background experience in Criminology an asset •Ability to work in a team environment Serving It Right certificate required •The ability to successfully obtain a Criminal Record Check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch
