In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, as well as working within the scope of the Northern Health (NH) Regional Decision Support Tools (DST's) the Support Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Food, Housekeeping and Laundry Service operations in the designated facilities. The Support Services Supervisor reports directly to the Manager or designate. The Support Service Supervisor performs duties such as: supervising designated staff, ordering food and supplies, performing other departmental administrative duties, and/or visiting patients to obtain diet related information in regards to nutritional and therapeutic diet needs.


- Grade 12 plus graduation from a recognized two (2) year program in Food Service Supervision plus one (1) year's recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.


McBride is nestled between the Canadian Rockies and the Cariboo Mountains in the beautiful Mount Robson Valley. The Grand Truck Pacific Railway brought McBride into being as a divisional point on the new Northern transcontinental line in 1911-1914. The company designed the town site with the station as the focus of Main Street. The major industries include forestry, agriculture, government service, construction and trade.
