Summer Packaging Operator – Contract

Phillips Brewing & Malting Co. is on the hunt for someone who is interested in the craft beer life! If you have a strong work ethic, positive attitude and desire to grow, we want to hear from you. The position offered is a contract, 40 hours per week until September 5th.

This is a team environment role with aspects of individual expectations. As part of this team of packaging operators, your day to day will be set at a high pace with attention to detail, safety, and efficiency at the top of your list.

You will be trained in all aspects of the packaging process. Aptitude for understanding and using machinery and tools is an asset. Steel toe boots are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate machines and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Support packaging team in all aspects
• Ensure the highest level of quality is reached for every package assembled
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness for the company as a whole
• Perform all requested duties with appropriate pace and a positive outlook
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 Diploma (preferred, not required)
• Valid BC Driver’s License (preferred, not required)
• Forklift Operators Certificate (preferred, not required)
