We currently have an exciting new position for a Substance Use Clinician
in our Mental Health and Substance Use Servicesin the Fraser Valley Communities of Hope, Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Mission, and Aggasiz Harrison.
This position will support a new centralized Substance Use Services Access Team
that will be provide the care coordination and system navigation across local, regional and provincial substance use services, with an emphasis on reducing barriers to re-enter the system of care and facilitating timely treatment and rapid re-engagement of clients where appropriate and feasible.As you build on your education and career experience, you will
•Perform initial screening of referrals from other health care providers/agencies, family members, physicians and other sources to determine appropriate treatment based on client needs •Provides client and family-centered care through a trauma-informed approach and evidence-informed practice to individuals and families with and affected by serious and persistent mental disorders and alcohol and drug addictions •Provide short-term counseling to clients and families and provides information and guidance to other caregivers, health providers and the general public regarding the Mental Health & Substance Use Services To join the team you have
