Cool As A Moose Whistler is Hiring a Store Manager! We're in search of a dynamic individual with retail/leadership experience that has the ability to empower team members, take initiative & acheive results. 
Overview of the Role
  • Delivering extreme service to all customers and ensure team is delivering the same level of service
  • Hiring, training, scheduling, motivating and coaching a great team
  • Leading team meetings, supporting the development of your team
  • Ensuring the store has adequate inventory, is merchandised properly and is clean and well maintained
  • Implementing feature displays and special events in store
  • Coaching, mentoring and providing feedback to team
  • Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees to specific duties; following up on results
  • Maintains store team by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
  • Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising results
  • Achieves financial objectives including: meeting store sales goals, following scheduling budgets, and overtime management
  • Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers
  • Reviews merchandising activities; determining additional needed sales promotion, monitoring clearance sales, studying trends within the store
  • Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment
  • Maintains operations by coordinating and enforcing operational, and personnel policies and procedures

Retail Store Manager Skills & Qualifications

  • Two to Five Years of proven success in building customer relationships and providing the “wow” experience in a retail management or supervisory position
  • Offer new ideas and enthusiasm to drive sales and lead team to success
  • Ability to lead team in a professional way and always trying to improve leadership skills
  • Passion for retail with an entrepreneurial spirit and always looking to develop your business skills
  • Open availability and are required to be there when the store needs you during staff shortages
  • Communication with your Supervisor with any store related issues 
  • Tracking store budgets and results/sales driven
