We hire great people for outstanding jobs. We are looking for a full-time Staffing Clerk to provide support within our team in New Westminster, BC. We need your help to expand the ability to deliver prompt and professional service.
Your specific duties will include:
    •Performs staffing functions such as preparing and adjusting staff rotations, allocating and calling in staff to fill vacancies in accordance with applicable collective agreements •Makes arrangements for staff by receiving calls and making necessary calculations to determine availability of existing staff according to established procedures. •Processes requests such as vacation, leaves of absence, termination, maternity and parental leaves •Maintains timekeeping records using a computerized payroll system and maintain related records/documentation. •Perform related clerical duties such as data entry, filing, compiling, preparing and maintaining statistics including related reports. •Acts as a communication link for the assigned area by contacting other facilities and department. •Maintains timekeeping records for regular and casual staff and submits/enters to payroll system as required.

We are looking for a committed and personal person with an eye for detail. You are able to juggle numerous tasks in a busy environment and conduct business in a professional manner. You like helping people and you display excellent communication skills.

You will take a thorough, hands-on approach to deliver high quality and precise work. A focused approach is needed to complete routine day to day tasks and handle changing calendars, priorities, and timelines. You will carry a high level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.

Qualifications:
    •Completion of Grade 12. •Three (3) year recent, related experience •Ability to type 40 WPM

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
