Our client, a leader in sustainable fuel options for commercial transport, is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant based out of their West Kelowna office. The role operates Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week.

Key Responsibilities:

-General ledger activities to include coding transactions, reconciliation and preparing journals for accruals during month end close

-Accounts receivable to include the preparation of timely and accurate customer invoicing along with collections

-Assist A/P in processing of vendor invoices to ensure accurate coding, necessary approvals, and timely input into ERP system

Education and Experience:

-Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

-2+ years of accounting experience

Skills and Qualifications:

-Strong organization skills, attention to detail and follow through to resolve outstanding issues

-Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices

-Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook

-Experience with ERP systems and accounting software

-Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple jobs and adapt to a rapidly changing work environment with fluctuating priorities and tight deadlines

-Highly self-motivated with ability to bring a high-level of energy to work

-Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

-Ability to analyze/interpret data and take appropriate action

Benefits Package:

-100% company paid benefits (with the exception of LTD paid for by the employee)

â€" 3% bonus target

-Vacation pay at 4%
