Spray Foam Applicator (NOC 72321)

Job duties

• Apply spray foam to both commercial and residential projects in framing walls, roofs, etc.
• Operate and maintain a foam rig inclusive of truck, compressors, generator, stick pumps, spray machine, etc.
• Determine how a building is to be insulated and understand how different types of insulation are to interact.
• Read and interpret work orders and architectural floor plans as required.
• Operate on high profile construction sites safely and efficiently.
• Ability to drive 5-ton box truck.
• Work in a team-based atmosphere with other applicators. 

Terms of employment

Permanent, full-time (40 hours/week).

Expected Employment Start Date: as soon as possible

Wage

$28.00/hour

Location of work

6955 Buller Ave., Burnaby, BC, V5J 4S1 and various work sites in the Metro Vancouver area.

Skills requirements - Education and Work experience

Education: Secondary school required

Work Experience:

Must have minimum 2 years as spray foam applicator or similar position.

Must have a high understanding of envelope principles including air barriers, moisture testing, internal vapour barriers and R-Values.

Language requirements:

Conversational and written English required
