Job Skills / Requirements
Salary: $60,000/yr
Schedule: 4PM to 2AM (10hr shifts, 4 days/week) **Occasional weekends if necessary**
•Resource would brief with office team daily at 4PM, gather instructions and organize themselves to address any special coverages, develop a rotation to meet and greet with fellow officers, provide mobile back-up as needed, liaise with all field staff to ensure connectivity and safety, report to client and officers for special events for engagement and set-up.
•Resource would have all special coverages under their "portfolio". Providing excellent leadership, focusing on service delivery and relationship-building.
•Responsible for quality assurance checks of after-hours guard services - static, mobile & special events.
•Serve as direct support for mobile officers, providing relief during high volume calls and/or emergencies.
•Identify, build and mentor a high-profile "Special Assignments" Team, advocating for advanced training and deployment.
•Liaise with Vancouver Special Assignment leadership to develop and implement best work practices for all special events and high-profile coverages.
•Provide support to SPM/CSMs for after-hours checks and coaching upon request.
•Provide immediate support for all emergencies after-hours, up to and including OH&S investigations and critical stress debriefings.
•Provide Daily Summary Report of all actions and findings while on duty, and follow-up reports to SPM/CSM requests.
•Serve as a leader in the field to motivate our field staff and provide them peace of mind and safety in their duties.
Requirements:
•Leadership and Relationship-Building Skills - Proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor teams, focusing on delivering high-quality service and fostering strong relationships with field staff and clients.
•Experience in Security Operations - Previous experience in static and mobile security operations, with a strong understanding of quality assurance processes and emergency response protocols.
•Strong Communication and Reporting Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with clients, leadership, and field staff, and provide clear, concise daily reports.
•Crisis Management and OH&S Knowledge - Demonstrated ability to handle emergencies, conduct critical stress debriefings, and participate in Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) investigations.
•Adaptability and Problem-Solving Abilities - Flexibility to respond to after-hours requests, manage high-pressure situations, and develop innovative solutions for special assignments and team training.
Education Requirements (Any)
High School Diploma/GED
