Sales and Marketing
The Solutions Consultant role is a hands-on product evangelist and primary technical resource for the sales team. You are the trusted advisor in a sales cycle, working with our savvy marketing audience as an expert in our Marketing Performance Management solution. You have a passion for understanding our prospect’s business challenges and turning them into clearly articulated solutions supported by customized product demonstrations. You have a desire to apply your experience with large enterprise technology stacks and data integrations to make a significant impact in growing our client base and company.
•Collaborate with Sales Representatives in a fast paced sales environment to identify and uncover customer business goals, pains and needs, and establish Allocadia as the solution in order to win new clients.
•Demonstrate the value proposition of the Allocadia solution through highly customized product demonstrations and proof-of-concept models.
•Act as the technical resource for the Sales team and lead all aspects of the technical sales process (including overall architect solution advisements).
•Utilize strong business acumen, including best practices and business processes, to understand and communicate business requirements and solution to prospects.
•Deliver solution positioning using a variety of tools and techniques, including presentations, whitepapers, and technical responses to RFP/RFI inquiries and manage Proof of Concept cycles. Work closely with Customer Success, Product and Marketing to leverage existing tools, templates and other resources.
•Be the expert on the competitive landscape: identify competitive threats to sales and provide business & technical recommendations and input to proactively address in solution positioning and proposals.
•Contribute, build and maintain a network of up-to-date specific industry or product knowledge.
•Provide feedback to Customer Success and Product Management to help shape the evolution of our solution.
•Must demonstrate working knowledge of information security, data privacy, and secure data handling processes and procedures.
Skills & Experience:
•2-3 years in a similar role in a software company
•Exceptional ability to clearly and effectively present to a range of audiences including C-level and highly technical individuals
•Technical pre-sales or consulting role experience, including Proof of Concept development and delivery of strategic solution and data integration presentations, preferably in a SaaS environment
•Experience in Marketing automation, MRM or other marketing technology applications is preferred
•Highly dependable, self starter, high energy, positive attitude with good organization and time management skills.
•Ability to travel internationally, on short notice
•University degree in marketing, computer science or a related field an asset
