Primary Duties Include:
Managing a consistent and at times heavy workload effectively

Responding to initial inquiries, qualifying new leads and performing initial estimates

Educate prospective customers on the value, benefits, and limitations of solar PV

Undertake solar site surveys at houses and commercial buildings

Preliminary design of solar PV systems

Develop and deliver quotations, economic analysis, and proposals for prospective customers

Close sales calls

Participate in marketing events such as tradeshows and local festivals

Education and experience requirements:

Knowledge of the construction and or solar industry

Education and or 2+ years experience in a technical sales position

Capable of lifting, moving and climbing a ladder and comfortable working at heights

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Experience with Sketchup and asset

Competencies:

Critical thinking and problem solving

Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities

Conflict resolution experience

Adaptability

Ability to work in a team environment with many different personalities

High level of organization

Class 5 drivers license with a clean driving record

Willingness to travel within our service area (Okanagan - Southern Interior BC)

Demonstrated passion for renewable energy
