XAP maintains offices in Culver City, California and Kelowna, British Columbia. The Kelowna office is expanding its team and is seeking an energetic, can-do software engineer who is passionate about solution-driven coding.

The Position: Reporting to the Head of Software Development, the professional in this position will work as part of the software design team with a focus on developing new product design requirements and documenting viable technical solutions that consider existing infrastructure, intellectual property and best practices. He/she will apply software development skills, keen technical interest and ability to develop enterprise class solutions while meeting project deadlines and customer expectations. The successful candidate will also provide architectural and big-picture oversight for development of new or enhanced software products.

Strong organizational and planning abilities, coupled with good decision-making skills and a willingness to learn, are a must. The ability to train and mentor other engineers is considered a key requirement for this role.
