Do you want to join the expanding Vancouver BC technical team? Do you know how to upset the apple cart without bruising the apples? Do you want to design something new and eliminate manual tasks through automation? Are you an ambitious engineer who could enjoy leading and high-fiving team mates while driving innovation through Amazon's Retail, eCommerce, and Supply Chain systems?

Then you want this job!

The Retail Cross-marketplace Inventory Sharing team in Vancouver BC is on a mission to propel Amazon Retail into the future. We want to break down barriers to growth, accelerate through escape velocity, and generally monkey with the Laws of (Retail) Physics. We are disruptive, and we will make a HUGE difference to the Amazon bottom line. Our projects cover virtually every aspect of Amazon Retail offer management - eCommerce Platform, Supply Chain, Forecasting, Inventory management, and Finance.

We are looking for engineers to join us on our crazy journey. But this gig isn't for everyone. You only want this job if the following description sounds familiar:

•You want to design and build something new. Automating retail offer management may be the last real frontier in our retail systems and we are breaking new ground to drive offers across Amazon and subsidiary marketplaces!
•You want to build something real. To us, sexy is an automated system that identifies and offers new selection simultaneously across worldwide marketplaces.
•You have an entrepreneurial streak that is itching to radically challenge how Amazon identifies and manages its offers.
•You are looking for a team that will give you headroom to grow your technical skills, leadership skills and business acumen (think Machine Learning).
•You are passionate about using technology to solve challenging business problems.
•You want to have a big impact on our bottom line. And I mean BIG (we'll tell you how big when you get here).
•You love shining the light of truth into dark and dirty corners where other engineers are too scared to go, solving epic problems.
In the Retail Cross-marketplace Inventory Sharing team, we work hard to make life fun and productive for our engineers. But we're not perfect. You should have ideas for how you think we can do things better. Here's where we are today:

•We'll experiment with whatever technology we need to get the job done.
•We're into Agile/Scrum and Lean Software Development including Kanban.
•We're huge proponents of Test-Driven Development and Continuous Deployment.

•We're big users of, and fully committed to, Amazon Web Services.
•We're working with Principal Engineers across multiple teams to design a new environment for managing authoritative retail offers.
