What You Will Be a Part Of
As a software developer for Energex Firmware, you will be an essential part of our team responsible for developing and maintaining our firmware for inter-connectivity of the Energex device and management application on the cloud. You will work closely with our team members to deliver a seamless user experience to our customers.

Hourly Wage: $43.00 to $45.00
Weekly Hours: 30 to 40 hrs

What You Will Do
-Design, implement, maintain, and support embedded firmware, kernel drivers, and application software.
-Maintain the current firmware system and optimize its performance.
-Be responsible for developing and implementing new features, debugging, and troubleshooting.
-Ensure that the firmware is optimized for time-critical software, adhering to industry standards
-Work with team members to prototype, design, implement, integrate, and document product features
-Write well-documented, high-performance, secure, reliable, and maintainable code
-Troubleshoot and resolve issues that have been escalated by the support team to the development
Qualifications
-A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline (or equivalent years of experience)
-2 to 3 years of programming experience in one or more of C, C++, Linux, Ubuntu, Java, and Python preferred
-Experience with software architecture design and best practices, and ability to incorporate them in developing our system is a plus
-Strong background in performance optimization, especially in time-critical software is an asset
