Job Summary:

Developer (intermediate-Senior) - DevelopmentTeam

Our team is a group of diverse,funindividuals passionate about software development. As leaders in the Machine Vision industry, we strive to keep up to date with the latest industry standards and prioritize quality in every aspect of our work. We are looking for a cross-functional addition to our team to work with us on our Machine Vision SDK, camera drivers and GUI components.

The Role

Our team is self-organizing and highlycollaborative. We believe in others good intentions and approach team interactions with compassion and empathy. Each member of the team has direct input in the stories and tasks we commit to. We strongly believe in the Scrum methodology and are constantly improving ourselves and our processes to make sure what we're doing works for us. You will work closely with your team, stakeholders, and Product Management to plan, test, develop, and deploy software.

Technologies we use:

Our SDK is written in C++ with wrappers in C, C#/.Net and Python. We support Windows, Linux and macOS, though we develop primarily using Visual Studio on Windows. We are interested in candidates from any background so long as you have a solid understanding of Object Oriented languages. Here is a list of some of the other technologies we use:
  • Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence,Jenkins
  • Git, SVN
  • WPF, Q
  • SWIG
  • Boost, GTest, CPPUnit, xUnit
  • Wireshark
  • Vagrant


Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Participate in an Agile Software Development Environment
  • Learn about Machine Vision standards and Acquisition Software
  • Work on tasks in sprints that have been prioritized
  • Closely collaborate with other Engineering teams
  • Support the Software and Testing teams


Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 1-3 years of related experience in machine vision
  • Strong C++ development skills
  • Nice to have: C#/.Net and Python
  • Open Mindset


Eligible to be certified to examine, possess, and transfer items under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and legally authorized to work in Canada
