The Software Architect is responsible for defining and executing the technical strategy for the development of BGC software. In collaboration with internal stakeholders, the Architect will be responsible for implementation, management of technical risks and opportunities, project development and our software development processes. This position can be based at one of our Canadian offices listed above.

Drug & Alcohol Testing
To ensure we meet our client’s compliance requirements and our workplace health and safety commitments, BGC has a drug and alcohol policy that applies to this position. The policy states that an employee may be required to take a drug and alcohol test prior to engaging in field work. This testing could be requested within an employee’s first week or in the future, as required. It is important to note that some clients also require random drug and alcohol testing and testing in the event of a health and safety accident or incident.
Driver’s License and Passport
In order to perform this role, BGC requires that you have a passport, in the event you are required to travel for work and a valid driver's license, in the event you will be required to drive a vehicle for work. As part of our background screening, BGC will require you to submit a current driver’s abstract upon hire.
