We are looking for a talented, full-stack programmer to join our RefundPros software development team. You will be working with experienced programmers and a software development team that has been developing high quality software since 2008.

You will be using a range of technologies like: .NET, SQLServer, Entity Framework, NodeJS, KnockoutJS, jQuery, Bootstrap and programming languages that include: Javascript, HTML and C# as well as concepts like: REST, MVC and data-driven design. You will be taking an Agile, iterative approach to software development (e.g. wireframe mockups, test-driven development, point scoring, continuous integration, daily Scrums, Sprints, etc.) and learning fast through innovation, code walkthroughs and design/ coding standards. What is RefundPros ( )? It is a unique, one-stop solution that recovers refunds for incorrect charges and guaranteed shipments from marketplaces like Amazon and the national shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, Purolator, etc), regularly returning significant sums of money directly into the hands of eCommerce businesses across North America. Our in-house claim and refund specialists and advanced ' set and forget ' systems recover thousands of dollars every day for our customers in return for a modest commission on the money they get back. We are constantly innovating and looking for ways to improve our service and our customers love what we do ( ).

We have a permanent office located in Kelowna and support remote and hybrid working arrangements. In addition to the programming team, you will be working closely with our in-house Analysis & Research Team (business analysts and technicians) using leading-edge techniques like machine learning and have opportunities to work directly with the company founder (ex Software Architect).

More About The Role

Ideally you will have solid programming experience, developing both backend infrastructure and web applications using similar or consistent technologies to those described above and a desire to build high quality software from the ground up. Preference will be given to talented programmers with a strong technical fit and relevant 'hands-on' software development experience (e.g. using .NET and Javascript).

A few specifics:
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years full-stack programming experience in industry (using similar or consistent technologies)
  • A good working knowledge of relevant technologies (e.g. Microsoft .NET, Entity Framework, C#, relational database design, Javascript, jQuery)
  • Nice to have: Nodejs, Bootstrap, Knock-out, Stripe API, Google API, Azure Pipelines, Selenium
  • Innovative thinking

  • Keen to learn new technologies and development techniques

Pay & Benefits
