in White Rock
, British Columbia
White rock is an area where you will enjoy its sandy beaches and waterfront eateries. Located in the southwest corner of the province, White Rock offers multiple leisure activities such as swimming, kayaking, and golfing, or simply strolling along the beach piers.
Expand on your knowledge and skills as you:
•Conduct comprehensive psychosocial/emotional assessments of clients by methods such as focused interviewing, the collecting of important data, the interpreting of the data within the context of the client system, using a variety of modalities and in accordance with professional standards and clinical policies and practices. •Develop, coordinates and delivers in-services, presentations and psychoeducational groups and/or training sessions related to assigned clinical specialty area as needed for clients, interdisciplinary team, community partners and peers. •Educate and provides consultation to clients and healthcare professionals on issues related to Social Work practice and area of clinical specialty. •Provides information in such areas as: high risk factors, recovery and current community practice, in the fields of adaptation to illness and disability, trauma, bereavement, critical incident stress management, relevant legislation, chemical dependency and community living and support services. •Acts as a resource to clients by performing duties such as providing information regarding community resources and access to these resources, suggesting contacts to facilitate optimal planning, arranging referrals and facilitating the development of community resources to support the health of families.
