located in Surrey, British Columbia. Both facilities are
committed to working on issues related to social justice, inequity and empowerment and serve a growing, multicultural population resulting in social work practice that is rich and diverse.
This position offers a flexible, rotating schedule which allows time off for work-life balance. Build on your education & career experience as you:
•Deliver comprehensive social worker services and therapeutic clinical counseling to patients and families for an assigned clinical specialty area. •Conduct comprehensive social work and psychosocial assessments of patients and families using a variety of assessment tools and in accordance with professional standards, clinical policies, and practices. •Provide consultation to patients and other healthcare professionals by providing leadership in patient care planning for the effective utilization of patient resources. •Participate as a member of local committees and planning bodies to identify areas for improved efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery to improve patient care services and reduce gaps in the service. •Develop, lead, and deliver in-services, presentations, psycho-educational sessions.
